A total of five eclipses took place this year, with three Sun and two lunar eclipses. The last solar eclipse of this year will be held on 26 December. It can be seen all over the country including Bihar. This Eclipse occurs when the Moon comes between the Earth and Sun. But during this time, the Moon is not able to completely take the Earth under its shadow and the outer part of the Sun remains illuminated. At this time of this Eclipse, the sun appears like a ring of fire.

There is a solar eclipse after about three centuries, which can have more auspicious effects than inauspicious. Wherever this eclipse will be seen, there will be better conditions financially and politically. There will be good rain and happiness. It is also a very strange coincidence that in the gap of about 300 years, such an eclipse is taking place, which will affect all 9 planets. 7 of these planets are directly in contact with the Sun.

Solar eclipse is taking place in Mool Nakshatra and Vriddhi Yoga. Rare Yoga is being formed after 296 years. On this day, there will be 4 planets in the original constellation. At the same time, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn and Ketu will remain in Sagittarius. Rahu will also have complete vision on these 6 planets. In these, 2 planets i.e. Mercury and Guru will remain. One of these planets is situated Mars first (in Scorpio) and Venus one further (in Capricorn). For this reason, these 2 planets will also be affected by the formation of dualistic yoga. In this way, special planets of 7 planets are being formed in rare solar eclipse. In this way, the entire 9 planets will be affected by this eclipse.

The Eclipse period in India will begin on December 26 at 8:17 am. The eclipse will be at 09:31 am, while the closing period of the eclipse will be at 10:57 am. Thus, the total duration of the eclipse will be about 2 hours 40 minutes.

Religious beliefs associated with the eclipse

Eclipses have special significance in Hindu religions. Many religious beliefs are also associated with this. At the time of eclipse, there is a tradition of Gangesanan, donation etc. The state, country and people will also be affected by these eclipses. According to the Puranas, there was a sea churning in the olden times. It was attended by gods and demons. When the nectar came out of the churning of the ocean, there was a war between the gods and the demons for this. Then Lord Vishnu took the incarnation of Mohini and got Amritpan to the Gods. At that time, the demon named Rahu disguised himself as a deity and drank nectar. Chandra and Surya recognized Rahu and revealed it to Lord Vishnu. Vishnu got angry and separated Rahu from his head, because Rahu also drank the nectar, so he did not die. After this incident, Rahu has enmity with Chandra and Surya and grasps these planets from time to time. This phenomenon is called solar eclipse and lunar eclipse.

What to do at the time of solar eclipse and Sutak:

Mantra should be chanted during eclipse. During this time one should not worship. The entire house should be cleaned after the eclipse ends. Basil leaves should be kept in food and drink before eclipse. This does not affect the negative rays of eclipse on food.

Sutak period will start at 05:31 pm on the evening of 25 December. Sutak period is of special importance in India. According to religious beliefs, no auspicious work is done nor does any work begin as soon as the sutak period begins. Even the doors of temples are closed in sutak. Deeds of worships are also considered prohibited during this period. But in Sutak, you can worship your beloved God in your mind. Pregnant women, children and elderly people have to take special care during the sutak period.
